Yeah, that makes sense. You waste money on a car, iphone, computer to play games but won't get a job to buy food.

And yet, you're the one wasting gov't money thinking you're actually go to college and be a productive member of society.

What? I didn't waste money on a car. :colbert: Also, I use my car quite a bit... (Just about every day) I don't buy computer games almost ever. Last one I bought was either StarCraft II or BFBC2, and both were at release. iPhone was a pretty sweet purchase and I don't pay for the plan. Regardless of that, it's only $35/month for unlimited text, many minutes, and 2GB data. I use that everyday as well. It gets a ton of use when I go out.

The place you normally buy it from has it at the jacked up price?

Frozen pizzas for example. Ran out of them. I want to eat some. So I go out and try to get some. $7 for two. On a decent day they would be $5 for two. So now I am left here without pizzas and having to eat whatever I can find.

Needless to say, Safeway can suck my balls.

First mistake is eating shitty frozen pizza. Maybe if you'd eat healthier, you wouldn't suffer from "pizza face" zits.

Second mistake is shopping at Safeway.

They're one of the highest priced stores locally.

I don't have anything else nearby.

Food has no correlation to acne, regardless of what the common people think.

I gotta vouch for those Safeway Select Pizzas, although not the frozen ones.
The local vons by me has a few freshly made ones everyday.
The dough is still nice and soft.
After a nice crispy bake, it seriously rivals any chain and it's a helluva lot cheaper too.

Safeway Select enchilada frozen entrées are quite scrumptious as well.

You truly are Jerboy reincarnated.

I wonder what his thoughts on light bulbs are...

OP aside, food prices are rising. The things I've noticed that have really shot up in price are beef jerky and dairy. Must be some kind of cow issue going on... :p

huge storms in the southwest about a month or two ago wiped a lot of the produce, at least for us in the West.

the notices have been up in most grocery stores for some time, now.

it's very much a noticeable difference in prices.

I'm fortunate in that there is a lot of food grown in my area and my local chain prides itself of stocking local produce, so most prices on things I eat regularly aren't that bad. Strawberries are damn near free recently. :p

?

I get two of these boxes for $5 on a non-rape day.

Ugh seriously?

2/$7.00 is the regular price for those pizzas.
2/$5.00 happens maybe once a month.

They are not raping you, you just don't understand how to stock up on things while on sale, and perhaps eating something else if you don't want to pay the regular price for this item.

There is no way you get two 8-pizza boxes for $5 anywhere. The 8-pizza boxes are $9.99 at BJs for one. Do you mean 2-pizza boxes?

BTW - I just ate one of these an hour ago, they are delicious.

We don't normally buy a frozen pizza. We normally make our own pizza, but we don't have pizza all that often. Usually we have it when the grandchildren are here and they want to watch a DVD while snacking on something. You can buy pizza crusts already made up, or you can buy frozen pizza dough, let it thaw out, then make the crusts from that. I prefer the frozen pizza dough, but you have to let the dough thaw out first so you can't really make a pizza on the spur of the moment.

By making the pizza yourself, you get to add whatever you want, and in the amount that you want. I kind of like extra sauce and extra onions, and the wife likes pineapple. The grandchildren like the sausage, but I brown the sausage first and then squeeze the sausage between several paper towels to get rid of most of the grease. Anyway, cost wise the pizza is not real cheap, but it is exactly the way we want it and it really tastes great. But too much pizza isn't real good for you. Once in awhile is fine, but to have a steady diet of pizza will probably kill you.

Learn to shop sales and stock up on stuff that doesn't go back. Next time it's $5 for 2 grab a bunch of the boxes and back your freezer.

I really feel for you. I couldn't find any cardboard pizza in my freezer either.

It's normally 2 for 5 at Wal-mart and WinCo all the time.
