Yep happens to me all the time... but that's because one of my usernames is lol funny to my some of my dorky friends
 
I absolutly hate when people use my entire name...

For instance... I'm the only Adam in the room, someone will walk up to me and say "Hey Adam Snow, whats up ?"

or like last week an old highschool friend was on the side of the road with his hood up, so I stopped and gave him a boost... "Thanks Adam Snow!" (it is just the two of us in a 4 mile radius)

ARGH!! Just "Adam" or "Snow" is fine... but I hate it when people call me by my entire name...

So yeah, I hate it when people call me by my screen name... 🙂 but thats not what they are doing, they're just being morons.
 
i was called "boso" a lot, cause i used it as screenname before. wasn't bad until i found out that boso means clown (i think in french) :beer:

what the fack? I've never called anybody or ever heard anyone called by their screename, nickname yes, screename no...
 
In RL? Nobody calls me by my screen name, thank goodness! Online, most people call me HC, which is preferable to my screen name. Some of those people know my real name, and they'll either use HC or Paige, but it doesn't bother me one way or the other. It's just the internet.
 
Who the heck would call me chaotic42 in real life? Why would someone call you by your screenname? I'm lost.

And tired.
 
a lot of parts of the southern ontario rave scene is very message board/icq based so to hear someone call me eakers irl is pretty normal to me now.
 
It happens rarely, but why should I be mad, I've chosen it myself.
What I hate is when people shorten my name or nick (they are both short enough...)
