At least the dad is encouraging the kid to do something active and what can be called a sport, getting kids involved early helps steer them toward commitment and away from getting mixed up with shit in the neighborhood.
And there's a lot of that in "419!", so more power to the family for trying. But proclaiming "419!" leaves me to believe the good parenting won't last.
