Don't want netflix. Any other decent streaming movie services?

I wanted to use netflix for streaming movies but they don't use paypal and I don't want to use a CC. Are there any decent streaming movie services that accept paypal?
I'm really into a lot of the classics like old war movies so looking for something with a large selection and some streaming HD, at least the equivalent of hulu.com, would be nice.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't use CC for personal discipline and I don't use debit cards online because they aren't protected.

But you'll use Paypal which gives you the exact same protection as their debit card if you use it or not... Doesnt make sense.

They're not? 😕

Not like a credit card they're not.

And Netflix has just been biding their time offering a legitimate service to many thousands of people for years now waiting for HeXploiT to finally cave in and sign up with his debit card so they could screw him over for $350.

Debit cards aren't covered if someone gets the card and starts using it. Credit cards are covered for this.
Using paypal is admittedly a compromise of sorts but I can keep small amounts of cash in my paypal account and it takes 3-5 days for an echeck to go through which gives me enough time to stop any major transactions should an "event" actually occur.
This method is very effective and to date it has been both perfectly secure for me.

good luck getting a car loan.

I don't borrow money. If I want to buy something I save and buy when I have the cash.

off your card...seriously, you are so ass backwards it isn't even funny.

If I needed to buy a house I would save for it unless it was an incredible investment and I simply didn't have the cash.
I wouldn't absolutely rule out credit but as a general rule I just don't do it.

They are nearing 10 million customers... when they hit that mark, the buildings in Los Gatos will split apart, revealing giant nuclear missiles. They didn't use red envelopes for nothing... nope, it was part of a COMMUNIST PLOT TO STEAL OUR CREDIT CARDS AND DESTROY OUR WAY OF LIFE! Plus, all their DVDs had subliminal messages that made us hate George W Bush. Judging by polls, the messages were tremendously effective, so you KNOW those missiles are going to rain a shitstorm down upon us the likes you have never seen before. And your credit scores are going to be FUCKED.

1. You're insane and/or wrong.
2. I don't know of any other unlimited streaming services.
3. You can get stuff a la carte via iTunes, and I think Amazon.
4. Can't you get some kind of prepaid mastercard thing?

Don't borrow money? Never going to own a house? Don't like saving money with a cash rewards credit card?

I don't have any debit cards. They are security risks and when issued them (always unsolicited from my banks) I cancel them immediately. I use CCs. I don't need discipline in the use of them. I'm completely under control with them. Also, they save me money, minimum 1% on every purchase, sometimes 2%, sometimes 3%. Money's money.

Read an article recently and it looks like Netflix is in the forefront of companies dealing in internet movie/HD downloads. The CEO of the company has had that vision from the getgo, that's why he called it Netflix. I have never had an account with them, Blockbuster, etc. I'm not opposed to it, just haven't wanted to shell out monthly to them. Downloads, maybe some day, have no plans to do so though.

You're not going to pay cash for a house. Unless your one of ATOT's many millionaires.

Plus, any time you make a major purchase like a car or a house, then run a credit check. Simply paying your bills on time and paying cash for everything does not build a credit history. Oh, its great for budgeting and keeping yourself out of debt is a great thing, but the responsible use of a credit card is fine.

Back to the original topic, most legit, decent services will want a CC/Debit card. They are more secure than Paypal and offer much more reassurance to both Netflix and the financial institution issuing the card. If you can already afford the service, just use the CC for Netflix and pay it off every month. Not a big deal.

And debit cards are afforded the same protection as a credit card.

Why not go with HD cable that allows you to stream movies?

My location is rather remote and the television services here suck.

No don't want anything mastercard. I'll give my money to the company that caters to what I want not the other way around.

Already have a house. Cash rewards credit cards are bogus.
Glad to hear that debit cards are protected though.
That opens a door anyway.
