Don't think a no parking sign has ever made me this excited

I miss the snow. Its almost all melted here. We never got any real big good snows this year, sure we got like 7 or 8 inches a couple of times, but, no real snows where they close the world and we get a couple days of peace and quiet.

Maybe next year.

Dude, don't fucking say that! It's just now starting to get above freezing - in late March!

Well, we could still get another month of cold weather if we are lucky 🙂
After last year's horrible weather where we had essentially no winter at all, and then 100 degrees for like 20 days ... I would love 30 years of below freezing temps 🙂

Yeah, that was pretty fucked up...90 degrees in the middle of March, with air conditioning on. 😵D:

Enjoy your earthquakes, wildfires, and whatever other crazy stuff happens in Cali. You'd have to pay me an awful lot for me to live there.

I like Ohio. Boring, yes, but also means we usually don't get too insane of weather, aside from all 4 seasons in a 24 hour period at times :|

That shit is rare. Last earthquake I felt was just a couple seconds of slight back and forth movement. Some people in my department didn't even feel it, I didn't even get up from my desk and it had been years since I last felt an earthquake. Most are pretty minor.

Fires? Yeah, smoke is annoying. Again, it is a pretty rare occurrance.

99% of the time it is sunny and mild. Being near the ocean we don't get the oppressive heat they get in the inland empire. It really is perfect weather almost year round. I've lived in western NY, not far from Ohio, you'd have to pay me an awful lot for me to ever consider moving back there.

and the girls. you forgot the women

We see the grass in Montreal... for a couple of weeks now (except for one storm 2 weeks ago that melted quite fast)!

Lame winters now, got on the outside rink only once tis year 🙁

^ this * 1000

ohio is the best

I'm not sure you could pay me enough to move to OH from CA. I'm not sure you could have paid me enough to move from Dallas to OH, and I am no big fan of Dallas. Its cool that you like it but when I've been there I've been less than impressed, maybe it is just the Cleveland/Toledo area that sucks...

Omg, do you know Shania? :awe:

I saw her live on stage once when I was a kid, if that counts.

Actually Steve Sullivan lived a few blocks away from my parents'. Not that he was in town all that often though but he was here sometimes. Think he sold that house now.

The snow removal crew came by, much better! It's been really hot out though as you can see, the snow on the road is completely melted. I actually went out in just a tshirt to take the pics. It's like +5 right now!

Spring is coming! I think I just jinxed it by saying that. 😛

Earthquakes are more fun than anything the majority of the time. The Earthquake on Easter Sunday a few years back was quite fun (if you didn't live in Mexico). It was the longest earthquake I felt and must have gone on for at least 30 seconds. The slow, side to side motion was just so eerie. Most of the times, it's just a quick jolt and some sounds of the house moving.

As bad as earthquakes seem, fatalities in the US are pretty low: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/states/us_deaths.php In the last huge earthquake (Northridge in 1994) only 60 people died.

I like having all 4 seasons. Makes the life less boring, and to appreciate nice days more. Especially if you have kids, they entertain themselves for free in the snow.

nice, that's the perfect temp. Not too hot, but still hot enough that it's comfortable in shorts and tshirt.

Getting a small blizzard right now. Snow was melting quite a bit though, and with the snow removal at least I'll have more room to put it. They took out maybe 3 feet from the lawn area even so I'm technically allowed to put snow there.
