It's possible not to like the new style, but to appreciate the effort that went into it. Some of the comments in the other thread were a bit much. If I worked hard to make the new style available (even if it is an aborted train wreck) I'd have been miffed too.

Was it serious documented and reproduceable problems or was it a lot of bitching and crying? As far as I've noticed, over the course of 9 hours, a lot of the major issues have already been ironed out.

If you and PM4E would stop stroking each other long enough, you would realize that the thread was updated and J. Clark points out that the thread was about a specific layout consideration and not the layout in general.

Man, you'd think one of the key proponents of the "Cry me a river, Build a Bridge, Get Over It" movement would be the last to post this kind of thread!

I don't think it's so bad...
I do miss a couple of features: ability to sort threads by start date, not most recently posted
Ability to click on page numbers (instead of next next next...) - I heard this was fixed or was going to be fixed - haven't checked for sure yet.

The colors are annoying at first, but I think that's because it's just different...

Plus, quite a few server errors, but I'm sure that'll be ironed out quickly.

On the positive side... NEW Avatars! Woohooo!
