Haha nah. I did however hook her up with a friend who got consistent head from her over the years.

All you have to do is hang out in a mall somewhere in Utah to see what a bad idea inbreeding can be...

This thread is creepy.
+1

There was an article on BBC site about this and call by some (white guy or gal) British official highlighting the problem. Iirc he was booed down to earth. Kind of explains why most of the nutjobs are from Pakistan.

We have a serious boy problem in my family. Out of 8 uncles and aunts and about 20-25 children I only have two female cousins. One is fat married and I would have never touched her. One is like 12 so I won't go there...maybe in Pakistan though where it's legal. j/k I would never move to Pakistan.

The girls in Utah are super friendly, epic snowboarding, off-roading, super clean...I had a really good time in Utah. Except for the bullshit membership you have to get to go in bars

this show claimed 10x, and when these families are popping out half a dozen kids its like playing Russian Roulette, only instead of passing the gun after the first trigger pull, they keep pulling the trigger

The effects of doing it repeatedly stack up through the generations...

In the example their grandparents were cousins as well as couple being cousins.

Keep in kind to that a lot of these marriages are for economic purposes. Thet marry their cousins so the entire family can immigrate with fewer restrictions. In Canada, there's a loophole which makes it easier for immediate family members to entre he country. I assume it's the same in the UK. It gives them access to social services right out of the gate. Brampton, Ontario has the largest South Asian population in the country. The ER of the local hospital is stuffed full of recent immigrants, most with only minor illnesses like colds.

In India and Pakistan, it's largely the same. Pooling economic resources. Children come second, love is a complete afterthought.

That may be one reason, but it's by no means the primary one.

These "close" marriages occur because Pakistani/Islamic culture heavily discourages the intermixing of the sexes - many (most?) of these children and young adults never hold a conversation with someone of the opposite gender that they're not related to until... Well, ideally never.

Secondary is the importance of marrying into a good family. Inevitably this isolation and pressure to go with a known quantity result in rather questionable matchups.
