You shouldn't have washed their dishes in the first place. Shouldn't have mopped and swept or done any cleaning in the first place, even if you're the one who has the least tolerance for dirt. Since you did clean the dishes you should have told them about it immediately, "hey I cleaned your dirty dishes because there were no clean ones to use, so if you clean the ones I dirty we'll be even."

Worst case scenario, you learning to live in filth is preferable to being the bitch who cleans after everyone else.

See, you're complaining like a woman. "They make me feel like I'm not good enough... And I did all the dishes, and I'm having awful cramps!" Several people have given you excellent suggestions to get the point across. Guys aren't going to listen to touchy feely letters or talks from you, you need to take action. Dishes in the bedroom floor is a great idea.

Simple solution... Everyone cleans their own dish... Thats what my roommate and I do, and occasionally we'll be nice and clean the other person's dish as well... That way it equals out.

that's really the best solution.

you're best option is just to have a talk with your roommates. if you be all passive-agressive about it, the situation will never get resolved.

Put maple syrup all over the toilet seat. Remove the linkage from the door handle of the bathroom so they lock themselves in, and shut off the water.

Alternative- skip the syrup, and empty the toilet tank after shutting off the water. The roommate will crap, then have no water to flush it with, and be stuck in the bathroom.

In either case, be near the door so it's not a fire hazard.

Not saying you are the bitch, but it could happen in the future from the position you are in now. The point of my post was that you should be be pro-active in preventing that from happening, you can't wait for it to happen and then come here and ask what you should do.

Why do you have to be pro-active? Because you are the one breaking down and mopping and cleaning dishes while no one else does it.

You say you're real laid back, easy going, and want to be as minimally confrontational as possible in dealing with this.
First of all, you have to forgive them.
That's right; b/c you blew it by *not* responding appropriately each time they "did" something, you can not hold all that against them.
Forgive them. Then YOU can act appropriately.

Then resolve to forevermore respond appropriately each and every time someone offends you.
You *have* to respond when the offense happens. Or forget about it.

Maybe you don't know how. Learn by doing. You will make mistakes, like everyone else. BUT you will
learn, and each time you will get better at it.

When you respond, it must be short and simple. Short. And simple.

Don't make moral judgements, just speak the facts to them.
