So I signed up awhile back for NetFlix but I NEVER ordered any movies. It was a free trial thingy....So tonight I noticed a charge on my check card for netflix!

I'm like WTF? I never ordered any DVD from these guys!! So I call the bank and file a dispute over the charges. The give me a reference number for the claim and cancel my Card, 7-10 days to get a new one. THEN, just out of curiosity I go to NetFlix and view my account (The one I never used after I signed up for the free trial) guess what, even though I NEVER ordered ANY movies, I STILL GET CHARGED FOR THEM.

So then I called the bank back and said, "OOPS" telling them the story.....

However, there is STILL one charge on my account that I don't remember making, though it hasn't posted yet...

Probably something else I did in one of my dazes....

I'll find out in the morning I guess.

Anyway, for anyone out there, like myself that DOESN'T know... if you sign up for netflix, you get CHARGED whether you rent ANYTHING or NOT!

I guess I didn't read the small print....

Any time you sign up for a service that requires your CC info for the trial, assume that they'll start charging you monthly fees after the trial is up . ALWAYS

yeah, last time this happened to me it was some site that started with a P and ended with a O. I thought I learned my lesson, guess not.

We won't even TALK about the DIALER thingy that got my several years back to the tune of close to $200 to some place in Indonesia ....

Sneaky slimy bastards....

Its a monthly service, flat fee, of course you get charged if you dont rent anything, just like sprint charges me even if I make 0 phone calls a month.
