But it did move, only the toe end of the flip flop seems to be glued. See how the back part lifts up?
And if he just took that fall for the team it was a good act.

^ a normal person putting on slippers in the open would shove the first foot in there and start moving while the other foot caught up doing the same thing. This guy stops in place, puts one foot in carefully without moving it, then places the other, then starts moving, making sure he steps up and not just forward like a normal person.
