I'm not going to move my clocks, I like them where they are. The atomic clock signal from Colorado will tell them what time to display. I just wish the Sharp one would wait until 2am local time to change.

On my bucket list is finding the fucker that came up with the idea of dropping/adding an hour twice a year and pissing on his/her grave.

I'm doing the same thing to George Soros' grave. I live for the day that fat fuck dies. Then I shall make my great pilgrimage to his grave. I'd shit on it, but they can extract DNA from shit. HAHA

Your bucket list item is within reach. Benjamin Franklin (yes, one of our founding fathers and inventor) came up with the idea in 1784. One of the latest versions of DST was implemented nationwide in 1967. People usually toss pennies on Benjamin’s grave, but if you are careful, you might get away with pissing on it. His grave can be found here https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/364/benjamin-franklin

It's Daylight Savings Time!

No it's not. DST means you're saving daylight. Saving is a verb. Savings is a noun, as in what money is left over at the end of the month. ;)

In any case, it's silly and should have been abolished in 2007 instead of adding three weeks in spring and a week in winter. That cost BILLIONS to do with patching servers and OS' across the board. Some devices that were never upgraded but DST aware now have the wrong time for a month out of the year.

If they abolished it, the costs incurred would be even worse.

As for that lost sleep, you only lose it on Sunday.

As long as you go to bed at the same time on Sunday night, come Monday AM you have gotten the same amount of rest. ;)

I remember working graveyard shift, it was great in the fall as I would get an hour of OT since I was on the clock nine hours when it was time to punch out. Of course in April the opposite happened and I would actually have to leave an hour later just to have 8.

Oh, like anyone's going to trust the Smithsonian over ATOT.
I sure wouldn't. They've proven themselves untrustworthy when entrusted with artifacts. Stuff inconvenient to science or history narratives vanishes - and we are the more clueless for it.

Plus all their exhibit placards have been reduced to politically-correct tripe. Not a lot of truth emanating from that institution these days.

An idea is an idea. Da Vinci had tons of them but no one gives him credit for a lot of them because his ideas didn't really work with his designs. Most will credit the Germans with DST because they are the ones that actually implemented DST and they are really the only reason we have it today. The Germans mandated it and it actually worked in the early industrial period, so other nations jumped on it.

I’m just giving the guy an easy way to fulfill his bucket list.

I'm doing the same thing to someone whom I have never met, only heard about in right wing "news" sites, so in other words I don't have a clue other than what folks tell me I should think of the man. I live for the day that fat fuck dies because I am unreasonably full of hatred. Then I shall make my great pilgrimage to his grave, only to find out he was cremated. Then I'd dive home and sulk for the rest of my life. HAHA

Fixed for you and well we all have to have our dreams, even if they are mental.

BTW P&N ------>
