Also, special editions of the previous Batman movies (FINALLY a good version of the 1989 classic!)

Will they be available separately? Or only in that useless box set?

Both separately and in a box set, I believe.

Wow..........I never gave it a 2nd thought when it was in the theaters.........(so much so, I never went & saw it).
Is it significantly better than the rest????
I'm also very worried at this point 'cuz "Iron Man" is slated up next for hero movies & I'm concerned Hollyweird will FuBAR the whole thing up & I just couldn't take that 'cuz I collected Iron Man comics for most of my childhood life!!!
It is significantly better, but more than that, it's significantly DIFFERENT. The screenwriter/director actually gave a legitimately good, *realistic* back story to not only Bruce Wayne and how he becomes Batman but to Gotham City as well. It feels like it takes place in a real city and not a circus tent like the other Batman films.Originally posted by: redgtxdi

Everybody is signed to do it, but the wheels haven't begun turning just yet. Considering the "calling card" of the villain at the end, you probably know who's coming up next. 🙂Originally posted by: SagaLore
Are they going to make any sequels based on that storyline? I think it is the best batman so far. Would be nice to see a Batman: Continues.

Are you kidding? It's *Hands down* the best. Even puts Tim Burton's '89 film to shame. They present Batman *perfectly*, and spend a LOT of time exploring Bruce Wayne and his obsession with the criminal mind. Hell, Batman doesn't even make an appearance until about 70 or 80 minutes into the movie 🙂
Christian Bale IS Batman.

Yes, but does this Batman have 'nipples'? 😉

Blissfully, no. He does, however, stalk his enemies and thrash them *exactly* like in the comics. Some of the scenes are actually a bit *scary*, which is something no previous Batman film has ever properly captured.

One of the best lines in the movie is simply "WHERE !!" when Batman's talking to Scarecrow after 'Crow's been gassed with his own juice. The black tar flowing from Batman's mouth and that evil demon face that 'Crow sees is just fvcking awesome.
