Oh I was picturing one of those bigger cans with the top you punch out to pour. Either way, just smash the bottle and send pieces with the wrapping. My point being it would show how ridiculous they were in sending that tiny envelope haha.

I remember biting into chicken fried steak at an IHOP at least 10 years ago and finding something hard and sharp. It appeared to be a piece of wire about a half cm long. They just gave me a new plate and didn't charge for it. I went on eating.
