Edit: its not fake it was on MSNBC: A Vehicle drags a gasoline pump hose westbound on U.S. 50, just east of the Severn River Bridge near Annapolis, MD., Feb 24. An unmarked police car pulled the driver over at the next exit.

happens at least once amonth on one of the 3 gas stations here..

people are charged around 150 to fix... so that pic is very real
there's a clip on the top of the hose that comes off in order to prevent people from ripping out the pumps..

how can you forget? I don't understand. someone please explain to me how someone can FORGET to put the pump back. that's the primary reason why you're at the gas station. that's like going to the bathroom and forgetting to pee

Maybe it was a full service pump and the guy pumping the gas made them pay and the driver though it was all done and drove away?

if it's "a driver" then 99% sure it was a woman. If it was a man, the article would have pointed that out. Just the PC world we live in.

i watched a FEMALE driver attempt to pump gas into her car, and either it overflowed about 3 gallons, or she missed about 3 gallons of gas in her tank...

I seen this happen once at BJs. By the time I thought of pulling out the camera, the lady was out of the vehicle, and when I raised the camera she glared at me, so I didn't get a picture.
