I saw him again today, pontificating about his very effective response to the pandemic.

Every time I conclude that he's the most disgusting person ever to appear on TV since the 1936 Berlin Games' landmark broadcast, he sets a new record for stooping lower and outdoing his previous level of outrage.

Now, he's telling us that losing "only" 100,000 to the virus marks his great success in dealing with it. No PREVIOUS president has done what he did, he tells us.

How stupid do people have to be, to overlook the simple fact that Obama kept Ebola from taking hold on our continent, while Trump disbanded the response team Obama had created? And how stupid do they have to be, to overlook Trump's dismissal of intelligence careerists warning of an outbreak as early as December?

The man has got to go. He's got to go. I don't care if it's "the dirt nap" or the consequences. He has got . . to go!

They always try and play this "equivalence" game of "everybody does it".

It never occurs to the Chuckleheads that the plurality of media of various kinds is a discouragement to proliferating fake stories. And it never occurs to them that cross-verification through review of more than one source has the greatest chance of outing the equivocators.

Let me pose this question. First, let's suppose Obama did what he did as pertains to Ebola, and we still had an Ebola epidemic in North America. One couldn't claim that Obama caused any deaths, after reviewing all the measures taken by his administration.

But Obama's measures did, in fact, prevent Ebola from taking hold. And Trump disbanded the Obama response team, and he also ignored advice from the intelligence careerists about the threat of a COVID-19 epidemic. Today, the death toll in North America is passing 3,000.

Is that not negligent homicide on a mass scale?

The man needs to face charges for myriad other things. He needs to be humiliated by a judicial system. His base needs to learn the lesson. They need to see him on MSNBC Lockup.

Going after Hillary -- for Benghazi, the e-mails and all of it -- was indeed a witch-hunt. They HAD the witch! And they were looking for crimes and transgressions that didn't exist! Usually, you have knowledge of a crime, and then you search for the perpetrator.

I just can't see how the Base can follow their looney-toon train of thought and illogic. It's like Tommy Lee Jones says in "No Country for Old Men": "Just WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE?!"
