Frankly, any service personal who thinks his customers are "morons" is never going to make it. Just quit while you still can.
Anyone who DOESN'T think the general public is full of morons must be one.

That's just a fact. You will deal with less of them if you work at a higher-end store, but they're still out there.

But work in a domestic store, that sells all price ranges of vehicle? Yeah, lots of moron customers.

Work with the general public for awhile and you will be shocked at how many outright idiots there are in the world. It's mind-blowing, really.

Well, if you can not control the outward display of that attitude in front of the customer, you need to get out of that job.

you need to just stop.

customer service is in a deep decline because of the customer is always right bull shit.

when you kowtow to a stupid customer you aren't helping.

Customers indeed are not knowledgeable when they vacate their area of expertise. They expect royal treatment at pleb rates. The mere act of opening a hood would cause many to spazz out mentally. For some mechanics, it is an opportunity to be predatory and GRAB MOAR MONEY. lol

Ever wonder why that pizza took 50 minutes when you are only a mile away? Because, the pizza place sometimes dumps three orders onto their understaffed delivery force and yes, the minutes add up quickly. Why is the staff undermanned? Because the money sucks and they leave after a few months. Then legions of customers condescendingly don't want to tip and continue with the mantra of "FIND A NEW JOB". Of course, they don't realize, that THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT DELIVERY DRIVERS DO. Thus, collective customer conciousness is unwittingly entirely content with the state of affairs of periodic mis-delivered orders and slow service. You wanna be cheap. Some of the customers will get crappy service. END OF STORY.
