Don't accelerate like crazy when driving in the snow

yeah it was always sad to see cars while I lived in Maine scream past me on I95 and then a couple of miles later you'd see then flipped over in the ditch
 
Sad. People are heading into Lake Tahoe area getting ready to have fun - and having no idea how to drive in snow.
I'm not so great with winter driving either - and that's why every trip to Tahoe in winter is a stress for me. I have a RWD with summer tires, so I rent 4WD whenever I go up there.
