Done.

Gonna reload the system when I get the time and stop screwing with trying to fix it.

Thanks for all the help to those that offered advice n such.

Okay, for starters I am bound by the laws of nature:

#1. I'm a guy
#2. I have a PC
#3. I have the interwebz

so inevitably, I surf for teh pronz.

I'm sorry, but I really found this funny....

I do hope you get it cleaned up. Try safe mode before cleaning from regular mode.

Download and run Hijackthis and look thru the analyzed text to find something that isn't suppose to be there or use one of those Hijackthis analyzer internet sights....google is your firnd on this.

Would you happen to be running as an administrator? Well, stop doing that.

Check that IE hasn't been configured to connect through some sort of proxy server (tools | internet options | connections | LAN settings).

Post a HijackThis log for analysis. I also suggest the tips here: http://www.mechbgon.com/security Data Execution Prevention, SEHOP, the Secunia PSI utility, and enabling UAC if you were silly enough to disable it. And note the part about Trojan Horse programs too, they're often using pr0n as bait.

And the result of that check was?

[edit] just noticed that Mozilla is now being redirected also. It's time to format and reinstall IMO. Hope you have a backup of your data from before this started happening.

Thats all normal and I even tried the google optomized version of IE8 to no avail.

What do you mean by "normal"? Was there a proxy server or not?

If some of the checkboxes on "LAN Settings" are checked, does it work when they're all unchecked?

Seriously though, after two days of living with this, you would have resolved this quicker by nuking the installation.

All I can say is kudos for admitting to the source of the problem, rather than trying to cover it up by saying your friend / kid / neighbor / etc. was on your computer, or you don't know how it happened.

Pretty funny. Hope the fix is relatively painless.

Pull the hdd, and hang it off another clean PC. Then run all your scans with the dirty hdd set as a secondary. The scanners are much more effective this way.

Well, LSP Fix said those 2 LSP entries were not a threat but I removed them just to be sure and no change :-/ They are not present after a restart but I still get re-directed.

I've installed Antira, Avast and NOD32 which I'll be running one at a time thru Safe-Mode and we'll see if any of them get lucky. Dang, I got a lotta crap installed on my system atm 😵

You got a rootkit virus. It will not show up on any software like hijack this or process list. It sets itself to be hidden including the registry and file system.
Get GMER.
http://www.gmer.net/

It will download with a funny name like 3hsiu3.exe . The reason for that is virus writers look for gmer.exe to stop it from running so the author set up the website to randomize the name.

There are a couple different ones that re-direct , some look specifically for IE or Mozilla and when launched contact a foreign site to get a site list to re-direct you .
