thats why i posted it in this forum. because people would actually have some type of technological background and it wouldn't be based solely off of random info.

it has to deal specifically with computers and other electronics.

and the majority of Americans don't even know what nanotech is. thats why i picked this topic since most epople don't know anything about it.

But then you post the poll somewhere that everyone does know what it is.

I'm not flaming you, but this just seems as if your results will be artificially skewed in one direction by posting the poll here.

People with a technological background don't particularly favor generic questions like "Would you like to see better technology in products to make them better".

whether you like it or not, nanotechnology will be a vital part of the future. think how nvidia created the new G80 chip with stream processors the could switch between two types based on the need. think of a CPU that can reconfigure itself on the fly to be what you need it. be it the best optimized architecture for editing videos, to running large databases.

nanotechnology will allow us to do this. i also believe that solar energy will be rejuvenated when it meets nanotechnology. think of a solar coating that is put on everything: buildings, clothes, even the sidewalk.

people may be afraid of nanotechnology cause they immediately think back to the Borg, but like it or not, nanotechnology is the future.

What was the aim of the poll though? Are you trying to get a feel for the general populous or are you just trying to have some numbers for you next debate?
