done

I liked my tech room sized.
Nowadays tinny finnicky computers are so freaking small I can't get inside and mess around using my screwdriver...

Please, this is a primary source and i would appreciate it if everyone would keep it to a mature level. Just take the poll and move on.

If I saw anandtech forums as a source I'd fail you!

then i guess its a good thing ur not grading me 🙂

Hell yes, I want my mutating processors, nano-radios, tactile-feedback clothing, self-healing car paint, OLED walls, skin-tight space suits, and most importantly, boobie-enhancing nanites.

Gotta love the flame fest that goes on when someone is actually trying to find a genuine solution to something.

With nanotechnology, you could send microbots into your computer to mess around with it.

I would like to see nanotechnology. Yes, there's concern about its use as a weapon, but there've been concerns about new technology turning to weapons ever since the first humans learned how to create fire, or tie pointy rocks to sticks. Or even wheels, those things allowed for easy transport of war machines and soldiers.
If you don't want anything to be used as a weapons, you'd best put everyone in a straitjacket and tie them to giant rocks, lest they use their own fists to harm others.

Nano is so bandied about these days that it's hard to figure out exactly what people mean. Do you mean, smaller, more efficient and faster transistors made from CNT's that have lower heat dissipation and faster clockspeeds? Do you mean microfluidic devices that can make drugs? Or is nano just a catch-all phrase for "making the world better"?

yes. also i am referring to computers as well as other electronics, scaled down in size and in power consumption.

poll is too generic. would i like to see *everything* go nano? maybe/maybe not.

no wonder a majority of americans "oppose" nanotech.. they're asked bullshit questions like these

it has to deal specifically with computers and other electronics.

and the majority of Americans don't even know what nanotech is. thats why i picked this topic since most epople don't know anything about it.

We need to have some type of application to join these forums that would filter out all the non-helpful people that just like to flame and get their post count up.... Some of the posts in this thread is just ridiculous..
