I am officially no longer a Redskins fan. After a lifetime I am resigning as a supporter and will become a Redskins hater.

They suck. Lost to the worst team in the league which makes them even worse.

Why? Why would you encourage bad management? It's like the Pirates. They have no reason to get better because they still make a profit. Even though the stadium is only 10% full, they still make a profit because all the tax payers are the ones paying their rent. Up their rent and I bet they try to sell more seats. A true fan would realize that and boycott the team until they made an effort to get better.

If the red skins (or lions, or any other team) make a profit while sucking because people still go to games and watch them on TV and buy merchandise, then they have no reason to pay more $$ to improve talent of players and coaches/management.

If I were a true fan, I would start boycotting a team if I thought they were making no effort to improve

Cowboy fan here. Been there for the 1-15 season and the 5-11 seasons x 3.

Gotta stick with your team in good times and bad, it makes those good times sooooo much sweeter.

No soul? Professional sports is a business. I love my college teams through thick and thin, but I won't support a professional team that makes no effort to improve. I'll support a team that has an off season (or couple seasons) as long as they show some effort to get better.

This. I grew up a Patriots fan, starting watching games in the 70's, it was a long road, with few wins, and much ridicule. When Brady retires, Belichick loses his marbles, and the wheels come of this franchise, I'll still be a fan, like I was before.
