Anyone else graduated? I finished my last assignment today. B.A. in Social Sciences from Washington State University.

would you like fries with that?

well, congrats. now the shield will be dropped and you will get to participate in the real world, and your views will change and you will realize that when you thought you knew everything in school, you were wrong.

No.. I'm going to be riding a bicycle around New Zealand until I get the actual degree, which I need to get a visa to teach English in Korea around March. Do that for 2 years then learn to fly airplanes in South Africa with the savings I made in Korea. Then make less money as a pilot than I could at Burger King

whats ur degree in

One is never done with school. I haven't added it up but my guess is that I spend at least 5% of my time each year in professional development classes. Since I recently changed jobs, my training will ramp up over the next year to almost three months of classes.

yea I just realized flight school is also a school... and then for teaching english I'll have to do some kind of training.

done with one kind of school forever!

Graduated about 1.5 years ago. The best feeling ever. No more home work no more tests no more assignments, work life is the best. Sure I may need to take certs or what not in the future but I don't have to take 20 certs all at the same time and learn all that material all at once, and there's no time constraints. School was way too stressful, glad it's done.

School > Work. so easy....

Don't know how people say that. In school you have like 10+ courses to worry about and all of them have tons of assignments, useless work that wont get used for anything after you're done, and tons tests to study for and learn meaningless stuff by heart that in the real world you'd look up anyway.

Work, you have one job to think about, and you get PAID for it, and you actually do the work during work hours unlike school where they give lot of home work so you get home and still have to do more work despite having a horrible stressful day.

If you do have work to do on the job that's outside of work hours then you get overtime for it.

Work > School, anytime.

No job is perfect and there are things about my job I may dislike (such as ignorant idiot users, or IT politic crap), but I'll take this over school any time.

I am done, i am done, i am done, i am offically done (b.s. finance). Someone pinch me, i want to make sure that i am not dreaming 🙂
