They do screen it for a lot of things, but the first time you go in if you are a college student with no major medical problems they will pay you. After that, if your sperm is high motility and they did not find anything wrong you can return and earn more money. NOt recommending it, however.

there are alot of requirements. i dont remember what they all are, but i know they do a blood test, a physical, and you at least have to be 6 feet tall i think. plus i read in the news somewhere that sometime down the future the goverment will eliminate confidentiality laws of some sort. id be scared as sh!t if some kid came up to me 20 years from now telling me im his natural father.

Don't they ask you to fill out a bunch of stuff describing yourself along with a picture? In case the sperm-receiver wants to screen out people who might pass on traits she doesn't want.... like bad looks.

Will they just take anyone's sperm or do you have to pass some test.
How do you study for a test like this? You know you've hit rock bottom when you fail a test such as this.

Working your way through college, or just feeling lonely?

Well aren't you paid somewhere along the lines of a grand or so? I mean, that's a nice chunk of change for something most guys do everyday in the shower.

more like a hundred or so.

Do you really want to biologically father a child you'll never meet just for $40?

I don't know what the real number is. I know that women SELLING (because that's what this is) their eggs can make a lot of money. Again, with no shortgage of children in the world I would not want to have a new tv sitting in my living room reminding me that essentially my estranged child is running around somewhere out there.

the kid is gonna be half yours. the prospective parents get to see your profile. if you are ugly, stupid, diseased, uneducated, etc. its not likely anyone is gonna want to buy your sperm. the screening process is very thorough and you have to commit a certain number of donations (iirc) in order to get the money.

I didn't want to say it last night but this man speaks the truth and he did it tactfully.

If you go you are just going to humilate yourself.

Wasn't there a thread several months ago that described a court judgement that a sperm donor was found liable for paying child alimony.

Know where your kiddies go!

I think that was in Europe

I donate sperm about every two days to my plumbing...no screening there...

I am a regular at that bank...

I donate to the Sears catalog frequently as well..
