The Huffpost article uses a NY Times article as reference. They explain this. In summary they say there is no spray tan nor tanning booth in the white house or air force one.

This does encapsulate one of the biggest problems with the Trump administration, though: it lies about everything, even the trivial crap that anyone with a decent pair of eyes would know is not true. And if we can't trust them to be honest about a tan, we certainly can't trust them to be honest about policy.
