Easy peazy: Trump doesn't give a shit about abortion or human life in general (other than his own). He appointed radicals to the courts because that was the deal he had with Moscow Mitch. He talks about banning abortion because stupid people will vote for anyone who talks about banning abortion. Hundreds of thousands of people died because Trump viewed COVID as a personal political issue, not an health or public policy issue. Everything is viewed through the lens of "good or bad for Trump."
