I know, and it's utter nonsense; Hitler was a much more accomplishred flatulist, and as far as history shows...wore no diapers.

He famously had endless, severe, digestive issues. Possibly due to his drug habits and weird crank ideas about food.

Link below is just a random google result, but similar things have been reported in any number of biographies of the guy.

Among many other ailments – some of which may have been medication-induced – he apparently experienced excessive abdominal gas (meteorism), uncontrollable flatulence, violent bouts of intestinal spasms, constipation, and diarrhoea. Often, attacks of such gastrointestinal complaints would be provoked by psychological stress, meals, or a combination thereof. By his own account, these symptoms had been present since childhood [2]. The diary kept by his personal physician, Theodor Morell (1886–1948), mentions that the first episode of cramping occurred in 1924 [3]. Morell later stated that the complaints had started in 1929 [3]. By any means, as he was appointed personal physician in 1936, the onset of symptoms predated his tenure. Another member of Hitler’s medical team, Erwin Giesing (1907–1977), noted that the symptoms became particularly prominent after 1933 [4]. Morell treated Hitler with various drugs, including probiotics and a preparation containing Belladonna-derived atropine and strychnine

Why did you vote for him??

Trump added over 20% of the debt all by himself and his tax cuts for the ultra wealthy and is continuing to expand the debt and this is just from his first administration…
Isn't it also something like every Republican President in the last ~50 years has increased the debt significantly too? But of course Trump is different even though...

From a radio program I heard today.

You have to ask yourself: Why do those carrying guns, do what those not carrying guns tell them to do?

As long as they believe in legality of the system, they will follow, but if they don't, they might coup it.

But the professor interviewed, did not belive it would come to that. He believed that the courts would hold their ground.

Gotta save the country from those brown people
Part of his long-time schtick has been handing his base something, anything they can use to excuse him for anything a sane and informed person wouldn't. This is the latest example, is quite stupid and is about as egregious as it gets.

The irony is that every one of us knew all along that when fascism comes to America, it will come wrapped in the flag and waving the cross with a gun in the other hand. (Ok I added the gun part)
Non-fascists still have their 2nd Amendment rights. For now.

Question for people still worried that owning a firearm might mind-control them through osmosis into school shooting up their local elementary school - who exactly are y'all volunteering to defend your country against a tyrant if you yourself aren't willing to exercise your rights to help defend your country against a tyrant?

You want me to imagine myself defending me, my neighborhood, my city, county, state, the nation by virtue of brandishing and maybe shooting guns at people while not representing an official agency of some type (i.e. law enforcement or military)? That's a right wing fantasy.

Here is to hoping the natural consequences of doing a crazy amount of drugs all the time and basically not sleeping at all catch up to him all at once.
Arh. Hoping. The go to democrat response strategy ;).

So is this it? Is there no going back?

30-40% of the population is probably more than ok with this. Half probably don't even know how our govt works.

Saw a post on bluesky that said forget about the 2026/2028 elections...we need to start thinking about 2050 and beyond. There is no quick fix, if there's a fix at all.

Yep..

There was always gonna be a tipping point with mass migration, Obama and of course the no US Citizen parent anchor baby Kamala who's half black. And that's how the Indians treat her.. not as one of their own.

Why do you think this country had the Trail of Tears, Chinese Exclusion Act, the National Origins Act.

I may not like it but it is as much of our history as much as this experiment in democracy.

It's not a freak coincidence if he won TWICE. The country WANTED THIS!

What it feels like is 2004 all over again.. when Bush won again with a bigger victory than the first time.

Yep you're gonna have to shut up and just accept the country wanted this. There's absolutely nothing you can do till you get 51% white Americans opposing Trump.

Newsflash, it was not immigration that tipped the scale it was trans issues and anti woke stuff.

Maybe you're right..

Blacks are actually the most conservative and anti-LGBT people in America and they seemed to go for Trump the most.. so maybe you're right.. that tipped the scales for them and they abandoned the Dem party and voted Trump.

Because I've yet to actually meet 1 white/ hispanic/ asian person who had a problem with trans people and yet I've easily heard over a 1000 people actually complain about migrants.
