God damn.
At what point do the masses of deplorables finally see how stupid and dangerous this man is?

Can't wait for the walk back on this one when somebody informs him that Republican run states also run on this thing called "tax revenue" and are going to also need a big float to weather the storm.

He should also muse about not topping off unemployment funds that are going to run dry in the near future. Should be a real support builder for the election.

Someone might also want to tell him that the states with the worst education and health tend to be red states. Mind you, he does "love the poorly educated," since they're the ones who support him.

Don't forget that red states tend to be net recipients of federal dollars, while CA most notably gets far fewer dollars than what it contributes in federal taxes.

I think CA is relatively even these days but I know that NY, NJ, MA, IL and a few other Dem states receive far less than they contribute in federal dollars.

Though Rick Scott was talking about how FL manages to "live within it's means" while in actuality it takes a lot as well not to mention has the most broken (intentionally) unemployment system in the country and is also facing a massive revenue shortfall. Always glad to have a huge fraudster who has crippled his state lie to us about the virtues of responsible spending.

A sure way to worsen the economic picture is for Trump to withhold money to the states who will then spend less (with companies that provide people jobs) and lay off people. Governments on all levels are a huge driver of the economy.

Many troubled children can't handle what the professionals call "painful effective states." In layman's terms, they can't deal with emotional turmoil, so they lash out in some way.

And ole' Loser Donald is basically like a troubled child. Remember: To him...being wrong about anything is a sign of weakness.

He's being laughed at!, and he can't make them stop laughing, and he can't get at them all, and beat them up, and they won't listen when he says he was just KIDDING, they're blatantly laughing at him and getting away with it!

Did I hear that the Monday covid presser has been cancelled? If true...I Guess he doesn't like that nasty old CNN lady sitting in the front row, getting ready to ask him questions about "things he did not say and if he did say these things, he was just KIDDING!

Why should the people and taxpayers of America be bailing out poorly run companies?

That question should have been answered by punishing the too big to fail banksters, both criminally and civilly last recession,

as for poorly run, define poorly run because minimum inventory using just in time methodology as well as outsourcing to minimize capital outlays and maximize profits is promoted as the pinnacle of capitalism,

and let us not forget minimum reinvestment of profits back in to the company as opposed to paying bonuses and other perks to upper management as well as golden parachutes if things go south.

All works well and is defended by the pro-profit only matters crowd, that is until everything collapses like a house of cards due to the corona storm, and then it is they must have been poorly run let them fail unless it's their too big to fail businesses then they practically beg for corporate welfare.

Restaurants are a perfect example of a business with single digit profit margins that can easily collapse due to it being forcibly closed or its operations severely curtailed by the corona-virus no matter how well it was run,

another is big farms and food processing plants which because of the profitability first mantra have become bigger and more centralized but much more vulnerable to shutdowns that can affect large areas of the country.

Yep
Due to deficit spending federally, most states receive more than they contribute.

California on average gets about $12 back per citizen, which is 40th most in the nation.
NY, NJ, MA, and IL are all 45th or lower, all contribute more to the feds than they get back.

Florida gets back over $2,000 more per citizen than they give. That's a net of $40 billion a year coming back from the feds more than they put in.

I should like to point out Virginia and Maryland get TONS of federal aid, in the form of fat, bloated, dangerously over-budgeted government contracts. The kind lazy white conservative voters just LOVE.

You have to remember, GOP voters being vast majority white, seeing that money go to vast majority white projects is far more acceptable than seeing it go toward minority communities, because they believe minorities wouldn't buy food for their kids, they'd spend it all on smokes, booze, and crack.

With absolutely no sense of irony, the Donald declares Amazon to be Notorious.

Because fuck self awareness.

Amazon absolutely does have an issue with counterfeit or pirated goods. BUT I have no doubt this is motivated by Trump's hate of Bezos
