Cheetos is a scared human being! He sees his presidency slipping away and he feels the need to do something, no matter how stupid or how wrong or for that matter if his advice will kill people he does not care about anything except to try to prop up the only thing he values -- his presidency!!
When self-preservation is at the very tippy top of his list of priorities, all else is meaningless to him. I swear he'd sacrifice his own children in order for him to "beat the system that's out to get him".
IMO he believes being convicted of his many crimes is so much worse than the actual jail time he'd have to endure because it's his image, that fake well heeled mannequin he poses himself in his store front window that he's cultivated over the decades is what's at stake. Well most of that facade he's put up has been stripped away and exposed him for the moron he actually is because the job he took on has him being the most widely scrutinized public figure of our nation of which his wealth and bevy of lawyers aren't anywhere near capable of hiding behind a vernier of smoke and mirrors like they did in his private life.
Those captains of industry who have as much or more wealth than he does look down their noses and sneer at him behind his back, as well as every one of his lackeys that are there exploiting those frailties of his. They're not there out of sense of loyalty, they're there because their own self-interests are as driven as Trump's.
Trump merely upgraded the swamp he said he'd drain to a much higher level of corruption and skullduggery.
