I unfollowed him on Twitter this morning. I am just sick of his schtick and it's no longer comical to me. It's just annoying.

This is why I never joined twitter in the first place. Even facebook is starting to get on my nerves, especially with their new godawful UI

You didn't join twitter because of Trump?

Seems a bit excessive. It's very easy to not see what he tweets. I am now doing it with the click of a button, after going out of my way to actually see what he tweets.

what drove me off of twitter was the inability to remove retweets from people's timelines. i want to see what was actually written by someone, not the 50 things they've retweeted in the last day. and no, i don't want to follow them just to suppress that.

People's bullshit in general. Twitter basically gives every idiot (and every smart person as well) a globally-reaching megaphone. But because of Brandolini's Law, the system favors stupid, misinformed, or willfully deceptive actors.

Also, everyone has to be an "influencer", which I see as yet another form of capitalism pitting the masses against one another.

Well at least I know you are telling the truth about not using Twitter. Because you have no clue what you are talking about in regards to it lol.

It's very easy to just see what you want to see.

I first heard the term influencer about 2 years ago. It still scares me that people feel the need to be influenced. Qualifications?

You ever wonder why the people that always complain about participation trophies are the same people that fawn over Donald Trump?

I never wonder as they are just dysfunctional, damaged people who desire something that they are missing. Since they do not know what that is, they meander around using the only skill they have, distain for those not as lost as they are.

The dumbass retweeted this today:

The Recount is pretty left leaning news aggregator. If you follow the thread too, they also posted that the Kenosha police chief (who is a dumbass himself) already walked back his statement saying his comments were "misconstrued". I know none of this means anything to any of his followers, but it just (once again) underlines how ignorant they all are.

Remember, Donald is really stupid and really crazy.

What an asshole:

President Donald Trump got off Air Force One on Thursday to Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son," a song about children of influential families who were able to avoid the Vietnam War draft.
