Gotta say, however, that I'm wowed by the logistics of cooking, transporting to the White House and serving, presumably still hot and juicy, more than one thousand fast food "hamberders" in one go, and the capacity of the team to pound them down. How many people are we talking about here? Maybe 110 or so team members plus 40 or so coaches? That works out to about 7-8 "hamberders" per person.

30 coaches and staff or so
(that's assuming every single one went too)

And who said they were hot and/or juicy? They are rarely hot/juicy when you buy them in the McDonalds yourself.
Not to mention, if I'm not mistaken, besides the transportation, they'd need to be inspected or something along the line. I'm pretty sure delivered food just doesn't enter the White House unchecked.

And you really think it was 1,000? You're believing Trump on the number?
 
Trump is such an idiot. Bring in food that's good at room temp- Subs, BBQ, even pizza, fer chrissakes.

Add a few kegs & invite Boof Kavanaugh...

Reportedly there was a smattering of Domino's. Which may be worse considering I can name better DC pizza places and I don't even live there.

But yes this was a pretty epically botched catering scene.
