Don King Sues ESPN

This is the same Don King who spent time in jail for manslaughter, yes? So how are they wrong on the "thug" part? Take that 2.5 bil and chop it in half at least.

I guess he needs more publicity...who better to sue than ESPN?

Should be interesting. Is he gonna get Al Sharpton? 😛

i think he meant will Sharpton, and might i add Jesse Jackson, come out fighting for him.

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are staunch Democratcs, Don King is an evil low life conservative (two sepearet adjectives here, not a shot at all conservatives) who worked for the Republican National Committee.
Just because he is black doesn't mean black people will always support him.

I am not defending him in the least as I know nothing about the man. But you barely know the facts and are quick to label.

Manslaughter = thug, riiiiiiight.

In 1954 he killed a man who tried to rob one of his gambling houses. The shooting was ruled a justifiable homicide, sparing King a prison sentence. He wasn't so fortunate 13 years later, when he was found guilty of second-degree murder for killing a gambling associate who owed him $600. The charge was later reduced to manslaughter and King served 3 years and 11 months in Marion Correctional Institution in Ohio. He was released in September 1971.
