Apparently old Don Johnson got snagged in German customs with $8 Billion in stocks, bonds, securities, credit letters, checks, etc. I guess some huge drug lord must trust the former televison cop!

The AP version says he had documents listing transactions that totaled 8 billion. Not 8 billion in cash/bearer bonds. Those bonds would have to be in large denominations. The police are looking into whether the transactions are legal or part of a money laundering scheme...
