LOL Shakeys! As in the all you can eat pizza buffet? The one in Peoria got shut down years ago for health code violations. It was a shithole. Then we had CiCi's pizza which was almost worse...and that shut down too because they went bankrupt.

Haha. I remember Cici's and their questionable buffet offerings.

Actually, I also remember Godfather Pizza as being fairly decent but that also has probably been disappearing. At least there's still Aurileo's and Connie's. Mmmmmm Connie's... And Bertucci's! That was the best...

Yeah, the shit we get here are Pizza Hut or Shakey's. We actually have two Shakey's in Hong Kong. I don't know how that happened (then again Singapore has been afflicted with Long John Silvers. May God have mercy on their souls. Though I was able to get Dunkin Donuts and kaya toast with soft boiled eggs so that balances things out there). But they have been... uplifted... gentrified so to speak as they are now sit down restaurants and focus more on pasta dishes and other things. The food isn't improved but the prices are inflated. The pizzas they come up with border on the edge of insanity. I think you guys have seen the shit they pull in Japan and apparently they get away with it too in the fly by night food service industry of Hong Kong.

There is one traditional greasy take out style pizza joint here called Pizza Box but I haven't braved it. The prices are decent for carry out. A large is something like 8 US bucks I think but something double or more for delivery.

Dammit... now I'm really hungry and it's another 7 hours till breakfast.

The italian chef who lives in my attic makes better pizza.

I liked their buy 1 get 1 free deals, but you can only use them a certain number of times. I guess I'll have to make another account.

It is better than it used to be, but still only mediocre for the money. Little Ceaser's is my favorite cheap pizza.

The best pizza I know of is the real Italian pizzerias on the east coast.
