Hard to knock free food. I've never had good wings from a pizza place. Good wings are fried. Pizza places bake their wings.

You must not have very many good pizza places around you. There are several places by me that serve much better wings than Hooters (which isn't saying much, its just what everyone compares wings to).

Best wings I've had are from a place called the Chicken Coop in Newport Beach. They are broasted = fried and pressure cooked? So they are not oily at all, and the sauce is on the side.

Are they fried? Hooters has some of the worst wings around. I don't even order wings from a pizza place unless I see a deep fryer in the restaurant somewhere.

I worked for Little Caesars and Pizza Hut in college. Both were garbage for wings. My girlfriend used to work for Dominos, which was equally poor in the wing dept. I ate them when they were free, of course. :) I also worked for a small wing restaurant called Wing King. Those were some of the best wings I've ever had. Buffalo Wild Wings does come close, however...

Hooters could serve bbq'ed cardboard, and people would still eat it and call it good.
No one is paying attention to the food there. Distraction at its finest.

Boy are they ever fried. Golden delicious, with a tangy but spicy hot sauce. And not those sissy small wings, I'm talking about big, meaty wings.

Thank god I'm going home tomorrow and can get some real food.

You must all die in a vat of oil for whetting my appetite for wings. Sadly BW3's is about a 45 minute drive from here. :(

Domino's chicken kickers are awesome. Papa Johns has some breaded chicken things which are alright too, but their sauce is what sets them apart. Sometimes I go to PJ's just to pick up an armful of sauce containers. :)
