Anyone remember their old 90's era twisty garlic bread and actual marinara sauce? Those were the days!

that stuff was pretty good. their current 'breadsticks' blow ass.

i remember dominos being better back then. the last dominos i had was absolutely disgusting.

The Domino's by my place makes great pizzas.

Yeah, I've said this before and it's worth repeating: how well the pizza is from chains really does vary by location. Theoretically they should all be the same, but really it doesn't happen.
The Domino's where I went to college was excellent. The one by where I currently live is not very good. I've ordered a few times and it's been barely adequate.
The reverse is true for Papa Johns for me. The one where I live kicks ass and the one when I was in college was horrible, absolutely the worse pizza I ever had.
There are only two non-chain pizza places around here, and they are like $20 for a large one topping and never have coupons so they rarely get my business.

most likely their large is a lot bigger than domino's or pizza john's "large" (which is really a medium at best)

Haven't had it in years, but I use to REALLY like their Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. I would not touch any other pizza there, but that one was good. Anyone eat them? I'm tempted to order one to see if it's as good as I remember.

Pizza Hut >>>> Dominos.

Of course your local pizza place should be even better.

The problem with Dominos pizzas is that even their basic ones they don't balance the sauce and cheese ratios right. Pizza Hut uses heavy cheese ( fake cheese), but dominos uses too much sauce. The right balance is what your local place uses.. but I find it funny these guys can't get it right. I love Pizza Hut though.

Yup, they're starting that up again here too. It's a pretty solid deal IMO as their pizza is just fine for a chain. I don't care if I can get better stuff somewhere else, you can't get that much pizza that cheap anywhere and I think it tastes alright.

I'm grateful for any change. They suck ass and every couple of years I forget that and have to be unpleasantly reminded.
Microwavable Stouffers Pizza tastes better.

Also,
Rocky Roccoco > Godfathers > most everyone else.
Little Caesers isnt too bad at 5 bucks for a large pepperoni, but thats all. Its just fast food pizza.

Back when I practically lived on Pizza, every 6th or so pizza would be Dominos. It kinda cleanses the palate after eating so many heavy crusted pizzas. Their crust is nice and light unlike other Chains or even Local Pizza joints. I couldn't stand eating Dominos twice in a row though.

Dominos isn't great but there is no way it is worse than Pizza-hut ball-of-lard-on-cardboard.

The best chain I've had recently is called vocelli's...yummy.

I like the cheap price, let's hope they keep that.

Dominos is cheap? It's been awhile, but they were expensive as hell the last time I got one of their crappy pies. I'd literally rather have a Celeste Pizza For One than a Dominos pizza. For cheap, I like Little Ceasars.
