Dominoes 256

So last night my wife and I where watching tv and we saw the commercial for dominoes and they say you are limited to 256 pizzas per customer per day. My wife asks what they would do if you called and ordered that many. It got us wondering, how long would it take them? Neither of us have worked at a pizza place. Anyone know how fast they can make pizzas?

Apparently from the time the ticket prints it takes 1-2 mins for toppings, 8 minutes to bake, and 1 minute to slice and box. So figure 11 minutes per pizza. Assuming there's probably 3 bakers and you can cook multiple pizzas at once, I figure you can produce 3 pizzas every 11 minutes, but with overlap you might be good for twice that rate. Even at 6 pizzas every 11 minutes that's still a shade under 8 hours of production...

Damn lazy software writers.
Stop using 8-bit integers everywhere, and this wouldn't be a problem!

Lol only 3 pizzas every 11 minutes, I doubt Dominoes could even turn a profit if they were that slow. Dominoes can easily make over 100 pizzas an hour.

It takes a surprisingly little amount of time to make a pizza. My fiancee worked at Dominoes when she was younger, and could build a pizza in 30 seconds flat.

Not sure how long the rest of the process takes, but I can imagine the busier stores having to make at least 100 pizzas/hour.
