LOL you and 15 other kids in a east Los Angelos class of remedial math kids in 1986 got the same score (stand and deliver, the movie).

Seriously nice job, but you are a cocky sob, and obviously not street smart.

Your AP scores and a dollar will buy you a cup of coffee.

Just a for what it's worth, AP scores are starting to lose their credibility with many colleges. My own high school went a different route: several of the teachers are recognized as adjunct professors to a particular university. The courses taught in high school are taught as university level courses. Thus, there's no need to bother with an AP exam. If a student gets an A in the college class, their official transcript from the affiliated university shows an A.

Congrats on the excellent scores.
Oh, and 4 in physics C and chemistry? Shame on you! I thought (from many many years ago) that the chemistry AP was one of the easiest science AP exams.

Agony is the price
That you'll pay in the end
Domination consumes you
Then calls you a friend
It's a twisted fall
Binds are like steel
And manipulates the will to be
And it's hard to see
How soon we forget
When there's nothing else
Left to destroy
It's a useless ploy

Your eyes will see
The dawn of the day
And the writing
On the wall
Those words that stare
Into your soul
And to yourself
You will befall

It's domination pushed into living hell
Domination a now blacked heart
Is reaching out divinity
Body suspended by chains over razors
And nails it's a penalty
Each razor a vice and each nail
Marks the demise of you life.
Grim construction grows
Has life played a trick
Sealed you in brick by brick
Till your end forcing you to bend

Congrats, those classes would have pretty much taken care of every class my freshmen year (besides Comp Sci) plus all the science elective requirements. I wish I would have gotten college credit for sciences in high school. Everything else I did.

very nice. congrats man. you just saved yourself a bunch of money for college. keep at it, and don't start slacking during college 😛.

Thats a year worth of classes. Depending on the school he choses, Id say he can get more than a cup.

Um... alot of those scores are only accepted as elective credit at most higher level colleges. You don't even get credit for AP physics at UC schools.

And for those who didn't know, for most of these ap tests u need to answer something like 70% of the questions right to get a 5. 50% and above you get a 4.

Some of these classes will allow you to pass out of certain GE courses. But that's like, 4-5 classes max usually. It does mean something, but you still have to take all the classes for your major. You don't graduate any earlier, just with more credits.

So yeah, congratulations those are good scores, but if you get a full ride from a school your Ap scores will not be the reason.

Congratulations on the scores. I can remember being anxious about my AP and SAT scores when I was in HS; it's such a relief to finally know and see that your studying and hard work paid off.

Good luck at UW next year!

It's not quite domination if you don't get 5s on everything.

Just saying.

I took 6 AP exams and picked up 40/45 points on my IB diploma, along with Multivariable Calc, Diff Eqns, and Linear Algebra at my state university.

I'm sure it helped me get admitted into college, but I'll be damned if IB or AP were actually useful in any way. College classes are way more rigorous/challenging than high school stuff ever was. I am glad I took the college math classes & AP Physics C though b/c that got me out of a lot of annoying low level, 1 billion student classes.

back in my day it wasn't something to gloat over making good grades, it was expected of you. If you didn't make good grades your dad would whoop your ass.

Do I detect a hint of jealousy?

Why is this thread still being posted in? (I am OP)

I started this at like 2am two days ago and have already got all the typical, your scores mean nothing, responses I figured.

I came from a relatively poor/bad high school that many kids avoided by switching to the more highly respected snobby schools in the area. I said "what the hell" and decided to just go anyway. We didn't have IB, college credit classes, or good AP teachers (note my 4's on some exams). Still I did my best with what I was offered to work with.

Only because you called us BIATCHES. 🙁

hs was an awesome time because the smallest accomplishment yields the maximum amount of accolay.

Eh, my bro took a bunch of AP tests. It really do him much other than skip general requirements which screwed him in the end since he couldn't take those when he aboard. He had to take his major classes and then means work when he was aboard and less time to travel around the country you are in. AP is not that big of a deal. The free ride you got, now that counts for something, like 100k+. i'll give OP a  for that, not for the AP sh!t.

Newport High?
Bellevue High?
Kamiak High?

Did you go to the schools in the Seattle district or something? 😕 Btw, I prefer community college classes over high school ones, so I don't really miss high school right now.

Congrats. Seriously. I rocked my AP Comp and AP Chem exams.

15 years from now you'll be able to appreciate what those scores mean. /subtle sarcasm

all too true..

anything you learned in chemistry/ "Bio" highschool classes will be a struggle to un-learn. if you ever take advanced courses in college a few years on, you'll realize that what you were taught while in high school was a load of BS--literally 😀

You have a problem with UW?

I thought about out of state (I live in Olympia, WA) but I figured UW was great and I wasn't sure if the education out of state would be that much better for the increased cost/transportation/etc. Plus I have a full ride to UW or any Washington state school.

Did I make a bad choice?

perfectly fine choice. It's a good school, and once you're finished, it's not about the name on the paper but what you learned/experienced while there. Pal of mine just finished Pharm school at U Dub ~1year ago.

always go with the bargain.

Sure. Throw the teachers under the bus because you didn't get 5's.

No irritability at being called a biatch by a punk. 😉
