Hey Guys, first post here, so be nice...

Thought I would post this site. I have been registering for a while with them. They are a reseller for GoDaddy, and have discounted their domain registration to below GoDaddy. You are basically registering your domain through them at GoDaddy, but at a lower price..

1yr .com - $ 8.70

Good Luck

I think I read that in their FAQ, so it should be possible. They claim to be the #1 place to register domain names now, and I'd believe it - I have two there now :)

As always, I would be sure to read the agreement and FAQ to make sure you can do everything you want to.

Does GoDaddy (or their reseller) provide DNS services? I'm interested in being able to setup my own A and MX RRs, not just doing URL redirect or email forwarding. TIA.

1 yr $8.95
2 yrs $8.75
3 yrs $8.55
5 yrs $8.05
10 yrs $6.95

They are no joke. I have 4 domains registered with them. Very cheap. I dont think they provide dns services though. You can set up a domain redirect but that looks to be all.

*edit*
The post does look fishy. Some marketing rep from godaddy no doubt.

I have 11 Domains with domainmonger.com
Very very good service.
Although they are slightly more expensive (17$/year) they offer free DNS service ...

And i can recommend readyhosting.com for hosting.....

I can't. Their technical, accounting, and web support are completely incompetent. I only recommend them if you are going to use them for straight static page hosting, or want some basic asp/coldfusion stuff. Otherwise, you're going to have a hella of a time trying to get anything fixed or working.

I do all my hosting through http://www.directnic.com/ and they do a wonderful job. Prices are $15/year for domain registration, and $5/year for DNS services.

True, it's not bargain basement prices, but I just transferred two domains off of Network Solutions (where it's $35/year), and DirectNIC handled it all painlessly ... and in less than 10 days to boot!

I highly recommend them!!

Hmm...I thought this was a list for godaddy.com. Can't recommend the reseller, that would depend who ends up doing the support.

Poochy, Check out RegisterFly. They are $9.99 per year, and have DNS service included for free. Their front page says something about MX records. I'm not sure what A records are or if they do those.
Good Luck!
