Domain name registration

You can shop around and might find better deals.

However Godaddy is known for decent prices and good service. Sort of the NewEgg of Domain vendors.

I use GoDaddy.
Jack's description is pretty accurate - Newegg for domain vendor.

The only thing I don't like about them is their GUI - too much advertisement and not easy to browse through the tools.

If you're looking for domain registration AND hosting, I've been very happy w/ eApps (www.eapps.com).
Their service and support are solid, although it's geared toward SMB, and not large enterprises.

yahoo domains are cheap as well, but I just signed up the company I work for to get a domain with godaddy. It was only $15 for 3 years (free year since it was a transfer). I even had to call them a few times, and got some good customer service.
