Domain Name - email + website?

We are paying for a domain name right now for our email provider. We wish to use the same domain name for a website. Is it possible to share the domain for both email and the website, given that both the email provider and webhosting are separate, third party entities?

websites, you'll need to modify the A record

email, the MX record

if you bought the domain from your email provider, and the provider is shady, they might charge you a lot of $ to do it...
