currently....i'm using windows server 2003 standard edition and wanna try to set my computer as server on domain base...when i configure the domain controller. and restart it...the restart page need about 5 minute to restart and then when it comes to the login page..it load the "preparing network connection" for about 5 minute also then it prompt a message that says "at least one service or driver failed during system startup".. set the domain controller according to the steps....blur blur blur.....

It depends on what kind of hardware you're running win2k3 server on. Once you enable services such as domain controllers etc.. the boot time will be siginificantly longer. However, the prolonged boot time might also stem from a fault in a network setup. The hardware is searching for network connections or the like in places that it's being told to and not finding them causing the extended delays.
