I’m just guessing that if it’s Delaware going after him, it probably has more to do with some corporation he controls (or perhaps something he setup as a tax shelter) rather than anything regarding personal taxes. As long as he went by the book (and didn’t hire a Michael Cohen type or Alan Weisselberg type) he shouldn’t be too worried.

What the hell are you babbling about? People have been calling for the Investigation into the Trump's long before Hunter was ever a topic of discussion. And, now here you are babbling about "The Biden's are crooks!" Who's released 20 years of taxes? who has done everything to block their taxes from being seen? Who lied about closing bank account in China in 2015, all though he withdrew $15 Million that China paid him, from that very account in 2017? Who has committed multiple acts of obstruction of justice? Get out of here with your crap until you take off that blindfold that is keeping you from seeing reality. Specially since the tax evasion has nothing to do with the previous BS accusations towards Hunter.

Clearly Republicans don't have a problem with money laundering. NRA was busted for this in the Maria Butina scandal. Also Trump has been shown to be doing the same thing through his properties.
 
This whole episodes sounds fishy. This probe was opened in 2018, so it had to be opened around the same time Trump was calling Ukraine for dirt on Joe Biden. And why would a probe into one person take almost 2 years? Would like to see and understand how it started. This is the problem with Trump's Justice department. When you politicize something, you can't wonder why people question it. But if he did do something wrong, he obviously needs to be prosecuted. But again, this whole episodes sounds fishy.

Yes, now that I hear this is federal no rational person would believe it.

It’s possible that it’s meritorious but as you mention considering how corrupted the justice department has become there’s no way to know.
