As some of you may remember I was ticketed a couple of months ago on my bike for doing 80 in a 55 (and that was a generous estimate...). I went to court today instead of paying the ticket outright because I hoped to get the judge to reduce it further.

The trooper didn't show up. In fact, the judge didn't show up, either. They had a judge trying a case across the hall come in during a break and he dismissed the ticket! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!


This weekend is looking up already...

I go to court this Tuesday. 81 in a 65. I am planning on asking for "probation." I.E. I pay the $170 fine and I don't get caught again for 90 days. Driving the speed limit is killing me already.

maybe i should start showing up at court for the tickets i get..i showed up for my 1st ticket, that was it, i had to pay a fine, so i haven't gone for the last 2
