doing a stupid econ project! and have no clue about it!

My knowledge is fading me. I can no longer recall what market failure is........I know "monopoly" and something called "free rider" are within the scope of market failure, but what else? And if possible, is there any recent example about MF?

But I need recent examples...this stupid professor wants us to cut articles from wall street journal from 3 different weeks...so far, I am thinkin airline to be the closest to market failure...but I definitely need more recent example to pull it out.
