my summer job hasnt started paying me for the summer yet and ive been there 25 days so far...first paycheck will be either the 1st or the 5th...

already asked the rents for some money to make up to then...got $7 left....looks like its gonna be a fun weekend!!!!

edit: actually thats kinda a lie...i have money, but i will need it for August rent and if i dont get paid on the first i wont be able to deposit in time for my rent check
 
I can SOOOOOooooo relate with this subject. My wife was working as a chemical engineer, I as an electronics tech. We (she) recently decided it would be good for her to stay home with the kids (4mos and 2.5yrs) and we'll get by on my income ~$50K. Basically, slashing our income in half.

I was really getting used to impulse buying and not worrying about money. Now, we are adjusting to a $50K income with a $100K lifestyle. SUCKS
at least she's trying an at home business (see link below)

EDIT: I guess the kids well being is important and worth the sacrifice, but it's still an adjustment
 
think i found a way out of it...gotta call my bank and make sure though...

I get paid on Aug. 5th...and i believe my rent is due by August 5th...

luckily Aug. 5th is a monday, so if i have my roommate hand in our rent check on the night of the 2nd, which would be friday or better if she is willing the afternoon of the 3rd. They wont be checking till at least monday and usually it takes a few days to get it approved. Then i will immediatly run out and deposit my check for on the 1st. Then i have money that i can use now.

argh this is so annoying...i was told moving down here that I would be paid latest 30 days after i got down here...so i thought i would have plenty of money...never knew 5 days could make such a difference.

I like money i just wish i got paid more. 🙁 i hate people who blow a grand a month on dumb sh!te and complain about needing more money from daddy

 
use all that frustration and hate or anger or whatever you guys have to change it! no one is gonna do it for you, make it happen in your own life.
