but now I feel bad for the dog. I feel like I should stop by my parents house on my way home from work and throw a ball around with their retriever.

hmm I wonder if you could teach 2 dogs to throw a stick for each other.

my parents retriever can play catch by himself with a tennis ball (needs to be a tennis ball because they have some bounce to them).

sometimes he takes a ball up to the second floor, drops it down the stairs, and then chases it as it falls to catch it before it hits the bottom.
