Dog scared herself with a fart!

Our dog was doing that canine licking thing when all of a sudden she let loose a good toot right in her face. It was rather loud, and she freaked out -- the paw she was using to support herself collapsed, and she fell to the floor with a bewildered look on her face and seemed somewhat scared. She quickly jumped up and moved away from the spot, never having figured out that the source of such noises is attached.

I couldn't stop laughing for several minutes. Silly dog!
 
when we had our Rottweiler I saw her several times while asleep cut a big loud fart. she would raise up look at her ass take a couple of sniffs then get up and walk away.

also she was nasty, she would cut fart so vial, it would wake you up from a sound sleep and make the paint on the walls bubble.
 
I've never heard my dogs fart. Smelled it, certainly (man, they can really do a number on a room), but they've always been SBDs in my experience.
 
Dog farting noises are funny, my two bulldogs seem to do it quite often. I always call them on it but they just look at me like with a whats your problem expression.
 
Have any of you ever unleashed a SBD fart in a crowded room and blamed it on the sleeping dog next to you sending it into the cold back porch? 😀
 
This reminded me of an old quote.

Last year our toilet was stopped up and I was plunging it and by God it just would not unstop, and before I knew it I was plunging like mad with fecal water flying around the bathroom, in a fury of plunging. It was quite a mess, but it was funny even while I was doing it.

To continue the childish fascination with dog farting...

She has her share of SBDs, but she actually does fart like a person more than any other dog I've heard about. Usually, she does the "head-up and sniff" routine, but she doesn't move -- perhaps she likes the aroma. Sometimes if she's standing, she'll spin around and sniff the area where the sound came from.

It's always amusing when she thinks she has to go outside and starts whining and barking. Then all she does is cut one and lies down again. False alarm!
