Dog owners.........

I do not own a dog, and get irritated when people just let their dogs go about their business on my front lawn. So today, I am unloading my car, and this black lab comes over to my lawn, sniffs around, and goes about his business.

I tried to shoo the dog away, but it still did what it had to do. Afterwords, it got interesting.

The dog walked across the street, sat down on another lawn, and started wiping itself on the grass. It sat on its backside, and took its front legs and spun itself around about 5-6 times. Basically, it rotated around in a circle on its butt. As irritated as I was that my lawn now had mess on it, I had to laugh, simply because it looked so funny.

So dog owners, is this normal, or has anyone ever seen this done before?

Scooting around on their ass in a straight line is normal. On grass if you're lucky, the indoor carpet if you aren't. Apparently this dog has refined the technique. 😛

If a dog has worms they will do that. I have one crazy dog that does all sorts of weird butt dragging tricks. :disgust:

Good doggy. 🙂

LOL, OP it's called "the drag". My old dog used to do it all the way across the lawn after we'd feed him table food.
