Dog lose hair in spring?

Hello, I am the owner (or the owned) of a short hair terrier, and I observed how his hair is falling. He is only 1 year old, and I don't know what to think.
Can be related to aliments? Or it is normal? I like to state that we have pretty hard winters in here (to -15 Celsius).

Thanks

What's the temperature right now where you are? Dogs do shed when it begins to get warmer. It's normal. Get ready to do some sweeping! 😉

Thanks, werk

After winter night of -10 Celsius, now nights are 5-10 Celsius, and days up to 20 Celsius.

And after a sweep, I have a hand of dog hair 🙂 You couldn't believe that dogs have so much hair 😛

Yup, that's normal. Your dog is shedding his winter coat and growing a summer coat which isn't nearly as think as the winter coat. There will be a lot of hair falling out for a while.

Almost yes, thedarkwolf.

Had a dog (big romanian shepherd dog). It died when I was 5 or 6 years old.
I was pretty scared of him, even if it was the most friendly/lazy dog I ever remember. So this is first dog in his first year.

Shedding is normal once warmer weather hits, but if your dig is balding, that's a horse of another color. From what it sounds like, it's just normal shedding, but if the hair loss becomes excessive to the point of your dog developing bald spots, take him to a vet.

My dog is shedding like CRAZY right now. He is a Beagle, we have been brushing him almost every day, and still if you pet him, there's hair everywhere! 🙂

It's perfectly normal, most dogs have times when they will shed heavily.

I had a white german shepard and durring the spring she would shed like crazy. Just go and get your dog groomed. It will get rid of a lot of the hair and will make your dog feel cooler.
