Dog Dasuquin price doubling?

So we've been giving one of our dogs the Dasuquin chews, and it seems to help him out. I'm checking through my shopping history, and it seems like the price of the chews went from $34/bag in late 2011 to $60/bag in mid-2012. Does anyone have any idea what happened?

The manufacturer is Nutramax, if that helps jog anyone's memory.
